Chanel wristwatch. This style has been around for years,a and yet was just featured in the July 2006 Harper's Bazaar as a "Workweek Chic" item. The band is a double-row or thin black leather straps woven into gold-tone chain. The classic Chanel chain, featured on the handbags. Black rectangular watch face with gold hands. No dial. The face simple has the Chanel logo. The back says Chanel Paris. Quartz. Swiss made. Copywright 1987. This is a well-worn item. It is rather dusty/dirty in the tiny spaces between the leather and the chain. The gold tone is wearing off in some areas. The watch battery also needs to be replaced. Guaranteed authentic. | 1987 Authentic Chanel Leather & Gold Bracelet Watch. This is classic Chanel, with the leather laced through the gold. It is quite a beautiful watch and it keeps perfect time. It will best fit wrists up to about 6.5" wide. Watch measures 6.75" from end to end and measures 5/16" wide. The face itself is 1.25" x 1". Face is black with the words Chanel and Swiss knocked out of the background in white. Plain gold arms and no numerals. Stem has an ebony stone in it. Watch closes via a small door. There is a small arm that folds over the catch prior to closing the door as a safety precaution. The outside of the door is stamped with Chanel in the appropriate logo type. Inside the door, you'll see the words Plaque with a serial number, ORG20M, Swiss Made and Chanel 1987. The reverse side of the stem that fits in it is stamped with the letter M. The back of the watch is stamped Chanel Paris Plaque with the serial number, ORG20M, Quartz Swiss Made and Chanel 1987. Condition: This watch is in very good condition with some minor flaws. There is the smallest of nicks on the crystal at the hour hand 5:00; there are no scratches -- and the nick was hard to see except with a magnifying glass. There are some scratches on the door for the catch, as may be as expected; these are from normal use and there is nothing deep or terribly noticeable.
