| Antique Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Trunk |
This is an antique travel trunk by Louis Vuitton. In comparison to
other Louis Vuitton trunks that we have seen, this trunk is near perfect
condition for its age and use. The trunk has the original numbers of
059709 on the outside lock and on the inside has stamped numbers 772148.
The trunk measures approx. 44" X 22" X 22". This trunk
comes with comes with 2 small suitcases that are stored inside the trunk
in special fitting compartments. These suitcases have their own slots
that are designed to keep them in place. Each suitcase is removeable for
use by themselves. Both cases have a louis vuitton label on the outside
of the case and are lined with a felt type lining. The lining has
started to uplift in one of the cases but the lining itself is in
perfect condition. Also inside are 11 hangers, 4 are large and 7 are
smaller. Each hanger is marked with louis vuitton and also has the LV
logo on the hardware (see pics). There are 2 large clothing seperators
included as well. These are made with an off white material and has the
louis vuitton name on the wood on each of them. The outside of the trunk
is in wonderful condition as well. The outside of the trunk has 2 large
leather handles on each side that seem to be all original. There are a
few traveling and custom labels on trunk. All the hardware is intact and
in working order. Each end of the trunk has the owners monagram of
A.B.L. |

This trunk comes complete with all original inlay, there are two
big "drawers" a box with an seperate inlay with two flaps and
an basket. The trunk has it original label and has number 171714. The

every part on this trunk is signed or marked as usual on Louis Vutton
trunks. This trunk measures 44 " wide, 22.5 inch high and 22 inch
deep. There is wood worm in the wood witch needs to be gassed. This
trunk is also the first who has painted red and green bands, these are
the original colors of Louis Vuilton. The leather strap witch used to be
on the outside of the trunk is broken. The trunk also do have some old
paper travelling and custom labels |

Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk circa early 1900's... measures 36"
X 21" X 22"... this authentic original "LV" Trunk is
in quite nice overall condition on both the interior and exterior...with
strong "LV" logos on all leather and canvas surfaces... it has
some normal travel worn dents... scuffing on the outside surfaces and a
small loss to leather on one of the corners ..all the brass
fittings..locks..pulls and rollers are intact and in working order...
the unique original interior has four customized removable trays... the
quilting on the inside lid has some minor water marks... both ends of
the Trunk have the owners monogram BLB and A.C. McCrea... the lock
number is 018780...(no key)... the Louis Vuitton Label and serial number
(132478) is on the interior lid. |

| LOUIS VUITTON TRUNK |
the label on the inside it dates from 1896-1910. The printing on
the later labels were more plain and deco looking. This Steamer Trunk is
in great condition. The Exterior is beautiful. The trunk measures 44"
x 22" x 13". The over all condition is very good. it is
covered with the signature LV logo canvas that son George Vuitton
designed after his father's death. This was to help with counterfeiting
even back then! The two leather handles are replaced. These trunks were
heavy and the handles did not survive that often if used a lot because
of how much the trunks weighed when packed. On the front face of the
trunk, the two side latches work and the center "S" lock is
locked open so it will never accidentally lock shut. The serial number
on the S lock is 064739. It has the engraved name of Louis Vuitton and
the address of it's Paris and London shops. On the face it has engraved
Arthur Gilmore Inc, New York, Made in France.There no tears on the
exterior canvas which is amazing for it's age. The leather trim is in
fair condition, there are cracks on the front, however you can still see
the LV embossed on the leather. All the nail heads are intact. interior.
is fair condition. I believe this trunk was used a fair amount so there
is a little wear on the inside but over all not bad. The tufted lining
of the lid still retains its charm. The labels are both in good
condition. A very special feature of this trunk are the 4 original
castor wheels |

Louis Vuitton steamer trunk with a VERY interesting history, this
was owned by Huntington Hartford, he was heir to the A&P Supermarket
fortune, built Paradise Island in the Bahamas, was friends with everyone
from Clark Gable, Shirley Temple to Carman Miranda, Lana Turner, Zsa Zsa
Gabor even the Beatles - the trunk this is in GREAT original condition -
there are many labels on this trunk bearing the name and address of
Huntington Hartford and his One Beekman Place (that address is mentioned
several times in his bio) - also shipping labels from the Bahamas /
Paradise Island which he built. . . . overall condition is very good,
handles are intact has a PILE of original hangers (hard to find with
these). . . might be lacking a drawer or two (or maybe those holes are
shelves) in any event it is nice and clean - measures 44" X 21"
X 22" - NO REAL DAMAGE - NO ROT - NO MOLD - has a "BOUGHT FROM
SAKS & CO'" label inside - featuring GREAT racing stripes and
his HH monogram painted on it - a SUPER piece - for display or coffee
table - drawers have leather pulls with L. VUITTON stamped on them - and
silk lining - |

Louis Vuitton steamer trunk.The trunk does show wear but over all
is in nice condition. Handles have been replaced at some point and are a
pretty good match. They are worn but seem pretty sturdy. There looks to
have been a couple of professional repairs done to the trunk over the
years. Canvas shows lots of wear in places but I would say that its
about 98% intact. Most of the brass rivits are intact and say Louis
Vuitton. Some are replacement rivits and are unmarked. Lock is numbered
047611. I do not have the key. The original label with serial number is
missing. This trunk measures 45 x 22x 19. |

21 X 40 X 12 inches Early stencil Monogram Malle Cabine...dit
Pegamoide...by Vuitton. Straight brass handles, full and complete waxed
leather edges with leather-wrapped zinc valence, not the reddish
vulcanized fibre seen on later models, clean and scentless interior, all
stamped and polished Vuitton brightwork. A solid and functioning antique
cabin model trunk. Defaults that may not be easily distinguished in the
indoor or outdoor photos include some small nicks and cuts to the
leather and fabric, the tray astray, the original belt is no more than a
scrap on the bottom. Worm-holes in a few places on the top rails appear
to be Euro-beetles so, as there's no sawdust and the trunk hasn't seen
foreign shores in 90 years, I'm willing to guarantee they've very long
repaired to Boring Hell or Heaven. (How different can they be?) The key
is missing but it hardly matters because the owner had the lock
drilled-out in the late thirties after she accidently snapped it shut
and could not find the key. She also had the iron wheels removed because
they were scratching the wooden floor of her dressing room. The original
purchaser was an Englishman named T. G. Gregson who came to practice law
in Seattle, Washington, where his daughter, Dorothy, was born around the
turn of the century. This trunk was given to Dorothy by her Father and
used in both her West 7th St. and Hollywood Blvd. locations. The serial
number is 131001 and the trunk dates from the Rue Scribe period |

throughout. Interior is lined in alcantara suede and very clean. No
tears, stains, cracks, or loose stitches anywhere on the monogram.
Vachetta leather trim has turned to a light honey hue and leather trim
on the underside of the foldover strap does show minor surface dirt
which cannot be seen but wanted to mention it. Date code is present and
all hardware appropriately marked. Measures approximately 8 x 4.5 x 4.
Carrying strap has a 4" drop. Made in France. Closing mechanism is
also trimmed in LIZARD. She will arrive with her red dust cover, care

stamp is present and all hardware appropriately marked. No tears,
stains, cracks or loose stitches - very tight bag and corners are nice
too. Carrying handles and all leather trim have warmed up to an even
toned shade. Zipper works great and zipper pull in just as nice.
Overall, this bag shows very careful use. Does have minor paint loss on
the bottom along the edges; this is simply unavoidable with this bag and
would be impossible to find one without unless it was brand new. Bag
will be accompanied with lock and keys and dust cover. |

Louis Vuitton embossed on it. The lining inside is a rich Alcantara
