| This pair of vases are 10inch Moorcroft in the 'Finches Blue'
pattern.. I bought the first of the pair when I first began collecting
in the early 1990's and was very excited! So excited that I wrote to
Moorcroft Pottery to ask what the name of the pattern was. Unbelievably
I got a hand signed personal letter back from W. John Moorcroft himself!
The letter with his provenance and signature is part of the listing. I
saved up and later added the other vase I am reluctantly selling them
with my very special letter. I believe they were designed by Sally
Tuffin, and as my letter states, in 1992 they sold new for £147.00
each. Condition is virually as new. Just slight crazing, no cracks,
chips or repairs. |

| rare and unusual shape Moonlit Blue vase by William Moorcroft. It
stands 6.25" tall, is 4" in diameter and has a lip of 2.25".
The Moonlit Blue pattern was issued in the 1920's, and this piece has
the classic green William Moorcroft signature to the base. Unfortunately
there is some damage to the rim, . It has been left in its un-restored
state, and should be quite easily fixable. Also there is some crazing,
as expected in a piece of this age |

| Two almost identical Moorcroft lamps from the 1960's. I believe
they are Orchid and Spring Flowers. The bottom of the lamps are a cobalt
blue and graduate up to a light green at the top. The actual pottery is
11 inches high and the diameter at the widest part is about 18 inches.
The overall lamp is 23 1/2 inches. They are both the same. The two
shades are original and I believe silk and have some wear but still look
great.(a couple of rust stains and one tiny hole) The lamps have no
damage, no breaks. One lamp has tiny cracking in the glaze, the other
has even less (only at the top) |

| This extremely early Moorcroft 4 pomegranate design 8.5
vase is in superb condition without any chips, cracks, damage, repairs
or restoration. The more desirable early Moorcroft Pomegranate design..
Four large pomegranates surrounding the entire vase with countless
number of grapes and fall coloured leaves. Measures 8.5
tall, 3 at the mouth and 5¼ at the base.
Moorcroft has standard shapes and this is not one of them. . Most of the
pomegranates vase or Moorcrofts in general have the design in one
section and the rest of the top or the bottom of the vase have no
design. This one is beautifully designed on the lower half and on the
upper half. As well, this very early Moorcroft piece is signed by W.
Moorcroft himself in green. Marked Moorcroft Burslem,
England M44 on the bottom. |

| Walter Moorcroft vase in the Anemone pattern with a dark blue
background. It is a very pretty looking vase, which, I think, dates from
about the 1940s. It is a very impressive vase at over 12 inches tall and
7 inches in diameter There is no damage at all to this. this is what I
would call mint condition because it doesnt even have any of the
usual crazing you get on old Moorcroft. Underneath it has an impressed
W.Moorcroft signature and also Potter to HM the Queen. At
the top is Made in England, which is also impressed. It also has the
initials WM painted on the bottom. |

| This is a signed Walter Moorcroft ginger jar and I believe the
pattern is Anemone. It is very large measuring appx. 10 1/2" tall
by appx. 9" at the widest area. The lid has the paper label and
according to the marks I assume it is c. 1930-1949. There is a teeny
tiny pin point flake on the base of the lid about the size of a grain of
salt that I only found with my loupe. The only other fault I can find
are two tiny glaze pops near the top of the jar that again are very tiny
and difficult to spot and several on the top of the lid. There are
several tiny flakes to the glaze on high spots of the slip that unless
you are searching for them are very hard to see. |

| Walter Moorcroft Fuchsia pattern vase It is quite large at just
under 12 inches tall (11 ½ inches). There is no damage to it
although it does have the usual crazing that you get with original
Moorcroft. I do have to say though, the crazing is very light. .
Underneath it has an impressed W.Moorcroft signature and
also Potter to HM the Queen. At the top has Made in England, which is
also impressed. It also has the W Moorcroft signature and the date 1942
painted on the bottom in green |
