| Concept art for the Star Wars ESB "Style B" poster |
Original concept artwork used to create the Star Wars: The Empire
Strikes Back "Style B" poster. (TCF, 1980) The Empire Strikes
Back went into production shortly after the resounding success of Star
Wars. Tom Jung was contacted directly by Sid Ganis, the new
vice-president of marketing for George Lucas, and asked to present
designs for the one-sheet poster, as he had done for the first film.
After painstaking research and a thorough review of images from the film
(stills, prints from the 35mm film, etc), he presented this original
concept pencil sketch to Ganis. It measures 19 in. x 24 in. (the verso
features a preliminary gesture sketch), and with minor changes and the
addition of some additional ESB characters, the Style B one-sheet was
born. This fantastic sketch also comes with two color Photostats: one, a
14 in. x 20 in. color Photostat of a revised version, with Han Solo,
Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Yoda and Lando Calrissian added; and the
other an 8 in. x 10 in. color photo of the final poster artwork. |

Original conceptual presentation artwork used to create the Star
Wars "Style A" poster . (TCF, 1977) Final finished conceptual
drawing in pencil, 18 1/2 in. x 24 in., by Tom Jung for the creation of
the Star Wars "Style A" poster - considered the most famous of
all the Star Wars posters. This is a revised version of the original
drawing (a copy of which is included on foam board), which shows a
provocative Leia that the studio thought was too sexy. The final version
featured a toned-down Leia and the addition of R2-D2 and C-3PO. Also
included is a 14 in. x 17 in. rough sketch, from which the final
painting was created, and a 20 in. x 24 in. color photo of the final
painting for the Style A poster. Tom Jung, working for the advertising
agency of Smolen, Smith and Connolly, was chosen to work on Star Wars
based on his reputation as a designer of one-sheet posters for a number
of important films, including Dr. Zhivago and the 1966 re-release of
Gone With the Wind. He was given the theme of "Good Over Evil",
and provided with a massive amount of photos taken by unit photographers
in color and black & white, as well as 2 1/4 in. stills on contact
sheets taken from the original 35mm print of the film. According to
Jung, the unlikely "cross" formed by Luke Skywalker's saber
sword set against the ghosted background image of Darth Vader seemed to
him like a good solution to the "good" versus "evil"

Complete Stormtrooper touring costume made for the 1997 release of
the Star Wars Special Edition feature film. (TCF, 1977) This set of
Stormtrooper armor was commissioned by Twentieth Century-Fox for the
1997 theatrical re-release of the Star Wars Special Edition feature film
in Europe. This complete set of armor is one of only thirty made for the
promotion, and was made by Offworld Effects at Elstree Studios, London.
Extremely accurate, it was cast from an original Stormtrooper costume
used in the Star Wars films. By the end of the tour only fifteen of the
original thirty sets of armor survived. These costumes formed part of
the display at the Royal Charity Performance of Star Wars in London,
England. Some of the belt components have come loose, otherwise in good

VP of Marketing: "I used various martial arts attitudes in my
working studies, trying to come up with the perfect look. I was
searching for the image 'bi-coastal' (as they used to say) of Darth
Vader, which could be the centerpiece for The Empire Strikes Back. I
made the presentation to Sid Ganis at Lucasfilm's new offices in North
Hollywood, near Universal Studios. In the large airy reception area
sitting on couches, with my presentation spread on a coffee table, we
attracted a small crowd of onlookers. Steven Spielberg peered in and
chimed, 'I like that' and strolled away. It was the drawing of Darth
Vader in profile, a powerful outstretched arm holding his saber."

| Star Wars EP2 Original Prop Lightsaber and Blade |
From Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones,Production Made Mace
Windu Lightsaber and S/FX Blade. This Lightsaber was produced during
EPII for Mace Windu (Samuel L Jackson), but the blade is from Episode
III, different styles were used throughout the prequal trilogy. The
Lightsaber was UNFINISHED for filming during production, and was saved
by a Lightsaber Technician working on the movie after filming wrapped.
He finished it off for display, but there are differences to the screen
used one, so this cannot be passed off as something it's not. The
Lightsaber as been fully chromed, airbrushed and hand painted in post
production. The results are stunning. It is made of resin, with rubber
hand grips, and the black clip on the end was actually used during the
actual set filming of Episode II, so screen used. Please do not expect a
Master Replica's quality Saber here, production stunt Sabers like this
one had their faults and imperfections, thats part of their appeal, to
me anyway. Also, some of the paintwork shows signs of wear, as does the
Saber blade. It still looks stunning on display, but if you're wanting a
perfect Lightsaber, this original prop probably isn't for you. The Saber
measures 265mm long (not including the rod), and the blade measures
950mm long. The new owner will get two COA's from the crew member I got
the props from, and an email from the crew member confirming their
authenticity and ownership history |

| 1984 Kenner Star Wars Coin - Early Luke Skywalker |
This is a Kenner Star Wars POTF aluminum coin from 1984 that came
with the last line of the vintage Star Wars toys. I've heard these were
also available through a mail-in offer from Kelloggs C3PO cereal. These
coins are silver in color. There may be some minor scratches from the
factory, but overall they're in UNC to AU condition ("Uncirculated"
to "About Uncirculated"). This coin is of Luke Skywalker as a
young Jedi trainee. The front of the coin shows a full figure of young "farmboy"
Luke in the foreground in a training pose with his light saber, plus
there's and a 3/4 head shot of Luke in the background along with some
stars and moons. I believe this coin may be much earlier than the rest
of the series as the fonts used are much different and this coin does
not bear either of the Star Wars logos on the back. The main lettering
on the face of the coin uses a mix of upper and lower case lettering,
while all other coins in the series use all Capital letters. This is
also the only coin of the series that I've seen which bears a separate
image on the back of the coin, in this case an X-wing fighter flying
through space. The classic mantra "May The Force Be With You"
appears on the back in extremely tiny letters at the bottom (unlike the
large block lettering of later coins) and there is a tiny squiggled logo
just above it that I believe is the original Lucas Arts Limited logo.
Even the bust of Luke isn't a very good likeness of Mark Hammil. Thus,
everything about this coin seems to indicate it was an early release
version of the series. The back of the coin gives a description of young
Luke but has NO Star Wars logos. These coins have been packed away in a
cool, dry environment and untouched |

| Lego recreation of a Star Wars Trade Federation cruiser. This was
General Grievous' command ship in Episode III which was named the "Invisible
Hand." The model took more than a month to design on computer and
more then a week to assemble.This was a very challenging model to
recreate given that the real ship has so many curves which lego bricks
have trouble recreating. This is a one of a kind model. The massive 110
cm (43 Inch) model contains over 3230 Lego pieces. The ship weighs more
than 6 pounds. Over 70% of the pieces are new, the rest are in good to
excellent used condition. All pieces were cleaned during construction.
Model is complete with sticker markings.The ship is lined with 200
transparent yellow tiles which represent windows and actualy light up
once a light source is placed inside the ship. The bow and stern of the
ship are separable and are connected by 4 special connector pieces -

Sandcrawler is factory sealed, having never been opened or the tape cut.
the box is in fantastic shape with a few minor flaws. There is a price
sticker on the front panel of the box which I'm sure can be easily
removed with a little TLC from the lucky winner. The lower back panel is
lightly pushed in with about a 1 1/2 in tear on the side panel right at
the edge, and there are a couple small surface creases on the box here
and there...nothing major. Other than that, just a bit of shelf wear at
the eges and corners of the box. |
