This ultra rare Steiff pull toy “Record Moritz” featuring
the beloved Wilhelm Bush Character Moritz on an automatic carriage was
manufactured between 1916 and 1926 and comes with the original
underscored long “F” button in his left ear. SPECIFICATIONS: COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Germany. DATE: Manufacturing period
between 1916 and 1926. TAGS & BUTTONS: Original underscored long “F”
Steiff button in his left ear. MATERIAL: Multicolored felt with mohair
hair and black glass eyes. Metal carriage with wooden wheels and
automatic whistle. CONDITION: Overall very good condition! Record Moritz
has some tiny holes on his felt clothing which are partly glued and the
colors of his clothing are slightly faded. The automatic whistle is no
longer working. SIZE: Total height is 11 inches. Length of the carriage
is 9 inches. (spiel 42 / 283sz) This gorgeous and ultra rare pull toy “Record
Moritz” features the beloved character Moritz from “Max &
Moritz”, a famous children's story of the 1860s by the German
writer Wilhelm Busch. Moritz was crafted at Margarete Steiff’s
factory in Germany between 1916 and 1926 and still has the original
underscored long “F” Steiff button in his left ear. This most
adorable fellow is made out of felt with bright orange mohair hair and
green felt clothing. He has lovely black glass eyes and is riding on his
carriage with wooden wheels. His limbs are jointed and when the carriage
is pulled Record Moritz is moving as if he was actually riding his
carriage! This much sought-after pull toy is very hard to find in such

| LARGE & EARLY STEIFF TEDDY BEAR with LONG F BUTTON 1910 |
This is an ultra rare and fully jointed STEIFF TEDDY BEAR boasting
a swivel head with shoe button eyes. The lovely bear was manufactured
around 1910 at the Margarete Steiff factory and comes with the original
“long F” button and remains of white tag in his left ear.
SPECIFICATIONS: COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Germany. DATE: Around
1910. TAGS & BUTTONS: Original underscored long “F” Steiff
button and remains of white tag in left ear. MATERIAL: Long and wavy
mohair coat. Felt paw pads. Shoe button eyes. CONDITION: Due to a
love-filled life, teddy's long and wavy fur is very patchy and we find
several bold areas. All felt paw pads are replacements and shows some
holes. Teddy underwent several operations at his belly, shoulders, back
and ears. Several small holes here and there. His neck is very week.
SIZE: Teddy is 20 inches tall when standing. (spiel 46 / 281sz) This
early and large original Teddy bear was crafted at Margarete Steiff’s
factory in Germany around 1910. With his long snout, huge feet, and his
curved arms he is very much of the appearance of the original “Baerle”
predating 1905. He is fully jointed, boasts a swivel head and the
original underscored long “F” Steiff button with remains of
white tag in his left ear. This adorable antique and large bear features
a long and wavy caramel colored mohair coat and has large black shoe
button eyes. His nose has been stitched onto his snout with black
threads and his facial expression is simply irresistible. |

Standing majestically over 8 feet tall this giraffe was featured on the
cover of GOOD HOUSEKEEPING magazine in June 1962. Beautifully
handcrafted of two tone mohair with traditional giraffe patch like
markings, natural looking mane and tail, large amber glass eyes with
lush and full eyelashes and a charming long tongue hanging out of its
open mouth STEIFF ear button inside ear (see photo) made of nickel and
from 1960-1972 All four feet have metal plates sticking out to mount the
giraffe on a platform, board or floor |

| Vintage Steiff Bear on Wheels 20", pre-war 1933/34 rare |
Steiff riding bear/bear on wheels with ff-button (last „F“
underscored till the „E“) and rests of red ear tag. He
measures 20 inches (50cm). This bear on wooden wheels was announced in
1933 with item-no. 12/1350,2b This bear on wheels must be produced
between 1933 an 1934 because of the rests of his red ear tag and he is
one of the first that was made by Steiff. He is made from brown mohair
and he has a beige coloured muzzle. Felt pads are original with small
spots and tiny holes, but not remarkable Frame and wooden wheels were
new coated in earlier times with original Steiff colours. This bear on
wheels is stuffed with excelsior and he has his original black stitched
nose/mouth and brown/black glass eyes. His cord-activated voice works
very low. He still has his red leather collar and a pull string. This
Steiff bear on wheels is in played with condition and he has lost a
little of his fur here and there. There are no holes in mohair. He is
clean from dust and smoke free. Dating of this Steiff bear on wooden
wheels is exact 1933/34 |

shoulder. Still retains underscore Steiff button in ear and threaded

10" tall Steiff Bear. This one is a dark cinnamon or chocolate
brown color mohair. This one has the metal button in the ear, but there
is no cloth tag. The bear has the hump in his back. His arms measure
about 5.5" long and his legs measure about 4.25" long.
Original cloth on the pads of feet and hands. The body appears to be
jointed but we are not going to chance damaging this fine early example |

This ultra rare antique Steiff monkey was manufactured between 1905
and 1906 and is fully movable due to his jointed limbs. Crafted out of
woven fabric and felt, he still has the original BLANK Steiff button in
his left ear. Manufacturing period between 1905 and 1906. Original BLANK
button in his left ear. Woven fabric coat with felt face, ears, hands &
feet. Black glass eyes. Overall good condition with minor abrasions to
his woven fabric coat. Few stitches here and there. He has some holes
and tears on his felt hands and feet and his left ear is also torn. The
backside of his head shows a small opening revealing his disk innards.
He is about 18 inches tall when standing. |

Steiff Mohair Dog Bulldog Bully Hang Tag & Bell Very nice old
steiff dog with a round bully hang tag and bell. He has no metal button.
Size is 6 3/4 " to the top of his ear and 5 " from the tip of
his tail to his nose. He has 2 glass eyes amber on the outside edge with
black center. His nose is black sewn thread. He has a horse hair
ruff.Head seems to be jointed. His fur has wear / loss mainly on his
shoulder. I note no torn areas on his body. |

A wonderful early shoe button eyed white Steiff teddy in lovely
condition. he is in excellent condition. Aside from a penny sized wear
spot on his back, his mohair is close to 100%. The light brown stitching
on the nose and 4 "claw" stitching on hands and feet are
intact and in good color. The pads on the feet are good, save for a pin
sized hole and 1/2 in. repair. The right hand has a 1/2" x 1/4"
tear and the left paw has old stitiching to close a tear down the center
of the paw. The button is missing. His color though not pearly white is
a very light cream and there is no question that he is a white Steiff |
